Hi all,
I'll be updating my system soon, as it's a dinosaur in a lot of respects. Was kick arse when I got it, but that's the way things go with computers isn't it. The question I've got though....
I'll be updating to a new board, and chances are it'll have dual PCI-e on it, as I like my boards to be high spec. A friend of mine has offered me his 6770 for £40. I've already got a 4850 X2 2GB, (told you it was old) would I be better off with a 6770 1GB over my current card? DX11 is an instant advantage I guess. I'm guessing buying another 4850 X2 and running two of 'em wouldn't really be worth it, would it? I've also considered buying my mates 6770 and then getting another one for Crossfiring. Both cards would only cost just over £110. Is that my best bet?
Sorry for the long winded post, I just like to make sure I'm doing the right thing with my hard earned pennies. Thanks in advance,
Chris.
