i have recently bought new parts

Crosshair 2 Motherboard
Phenom 11x4 Black Edition
4xCorsair Dominator 1GB
Ge Force 9600 GSO Graphics

can someone tell me the way to get the best performance out of it?

Best way is to use the search engine and the sticky's when you done some work yourself and get stuck, come and post for help

thanks for the reply i am new to overclocking computers im not to sure on how to tweak the bios and whether the parts i bought are right for each other i am running Vista 32bit if that makes a diffrence

Does the computer work? Then the components are right for each other.

Overclocking your particular Phenom is not rocket science, but then it's much easier to explain to somebody who has familiarised themselves with their motherboard's BIOS and will understand what each of the different gubbins does...

the computer does work but there are a lot of settings in the bios which i didnt have with my old board i just dont want to do something that i shouldnt and kill it straight away

If you don't understand it, don't mess with it.

It's very hard to kill hardware nowadays, but even so I'd check out xtremesystems.org forums for some very clever Phenom overclockers...
