Hi all
Bit of a blast from the past here but I have been kindly given a Crosshair IV formula board with. 1090T chip by a friend for a first build for my nephew.
I got it on bench today and got it to boot to windows 10 no problems once and all seemed well. I then powered it off to have some lunch and tidy up a bit, came back to do some more work and now it refuses to post at all, the system powers and I get cpu fans spinning but no video and it is just sat with the Q-CPU LED highlighted. If I press the mem-ok button to do a bios reset and restart it flashes the DRAM light on and off too as well as the constant on CPU LED but I am still left in the same position.
Anyone able to shed any light? I have removed CMOS, reseated RAM, CPU etc all with no luck.
Looking about online it doesn't seem an uncommon thing but as is typical, no final solutions!
Cheers
Ben
