I've been looking for a the Panasonic 36pd30 or even better a 36pd50 for over a year now and the only ones that come up are miles away and stupid money like £100 starting prices!
I've noticed the same and CRT prices are going up but probably because one person puts £10 then someone thinks nice I'll sell mine for £15 and they just go up and up but nobody is buying them bar us hardcore old gaming guys I totally regret getting rid of my 14" lg CRT as well as my two 21" diamond Trinitron monitors. Nearly killed my 15 year old self carrying them up the stairs to my bedroom lol .
It appears that the 14" ones with RGB Scart are the one's carrying a premium now because people want them for retrogaming. They ideal in that they don't take up much space and RGB is best for unmodified consoles like the Mega Drive. In fact most 14" ones on eBay even carry the bloody retrogaming tag on them.
I was looking at the price of PVM's only last week as I'm umming and arring about moving my 20" Sony on. I couldn't believe the prices these are listed at now. Think I paid £30 for my 20M4E and paid £10 for my 14M2E. They are ranging between £200-£400 now!!!
I have an old black & white Binatone Master TV in mint condition still in its original box and packaging, I got it back in 2012 for a tenner. Its in a cupboard full of stuff so I can't get to it to snap a picture but in my bedroom I have another CRT TV... well its a CRT CCTV color monitor that I'm using as a TV should I say. Its a JVC with NTSC and PAL and SECAM and a few other options and I also run my Sega Mega Drive on it and has a freeview box pluged into it. It has many inputs on the back so I can have a few things on it and all's I have to do is flip a switch between the Sega or Freeview box so quite handy. I added a personal touch to it as well by sticking some 70's wooden effect sticky back plastic around it. I'll snap some pics of it in a bit.
I actually found this and picked it up and took it home and its worked flawlessly.
