Would that monitor be a good choice for using an Xbox 360 with? and would it suppport the xbox 360 top resolution?. Do the PC games not look stretched on it?. I might just take the plunge at christmas and get something along the lines of that monitor, maybe a bit smaller.Gibbo said:But an offer came by myself which was too good to miss and I am now using a DELL 3007WFP 30" panel. Its rated as having an 11ms grey-to-grey response time. All I can say is DVD's and Games look far superior. The colours just seem so much more vibrant and obviously the 30" size is damn big but really nice.
Now maybe I am fortunate to be using one of the best but I would certainly not go back to my CRTs as this thing is so great and even though its 30" it takes up far less space, is easier on the eyes and watching DVD's and playing games has never been so good.....

I think that all this CRT business been better for games over TFT's is absolute rubbish and people just nit picking.
Up until last week I was using a Mitsubishi Pro 900u 19" CRT, probably the best 19" CRT ever released along with a 22" Compaq CRT. Both were exceptional displays.
But an offer came by myself which was too good to miss and I am now using a DELL 3007WFP 30" panel. Its rated as having an 11ms grey-to-grey response time. Surely they can be used as a monitor even if they are designed as a TV, or will they not be high definition?. Basically i want a good sized screen to play games on my PC and Xbox 360, a 28" CRT TV looks awfull and my 19" CRT monitor will be too small for games in widescreen like xbox 360 games. If SED monitors are designed for games and are high definition then i think i'll wait for them to come out.Energize said:Theres no doubt they'll make sed monitors, they aren't going to ignore a huge market like that.
