Hi
This monitor was brand new in box just a year ago or so I don't believe the issue is an age/usage issue that would be commonplace with a properly old and well used monitor. Does anybody know exactly what this issue is? the lines appear with varying degrees of visibility so I can usually ignore them but sometimes they're pretty obvious like this? 
Update: Managed to repair this a while ago via the "colour return" option which just fixed it completely.
