Its my second display a CRT Hyundai Image Quest Q995. Started my PC as normal after about 5mins it clicked off. Now when i restarted it clicks and the green light comes on for a second but no display. Its running from the same graphics card as my main LCD. Anyone know whats wrong.

Have you tried the basics and checked the plug and changed the fuse? Although if something happens and it clicks it's more likely something internal.

Could be it's just finally died, hopefully won't jinx me, I have the same monitor!

Yeah checked the basics wierd thing is no loose connections but its occationally turning on for a minute or so. Hope its not gone it went well with my other one.

How about trying a completely different power lead? I had to change mine once because it spent a couple of years being pushed up into the wall everytime I swiveled it around and the wires inside must've twisted and wore down.

Maybe it's time to do some reading then ;) http://www.repairfaq.org/REPAIR/F_monfaq2.html#MONFAQ_012

Although lines like
For TVs and monitors in particular, there is the additional danger of CRT implosion

An implosion will scatter shards of glass at high velocity in every direction. There are several tons of force attempting to crush the typical CRT.
always put me off DIY repair jobs for some reason.

Lol, not to mention the risk of death by electric shock since the capacitors store a large current even when the screen is off apparently.
