CRT MONITOR

I wish someone made modern CRTS.

Would be great.

I was still on a diamond pro till earlier this year when it died :(. On a 144hz strobing one now, it's ok, but I still miss my crt. Never gave me headaches, and the motion clarity and response was amazing.

I still find it a joke, that we still don't have something that matches them for colour, motion clarity and just general responsiveness.

It's a joke indeed. To think that people are now paying more for essentially Less.

Bit of a thread-jack sorry, but relevant

Faceman123, I also have a 10 year old Iiyama 454 that unfortunately developed a barrel-distortion issue at the tale end of 2013. The monitor spent most of 2014 with a local tv/monitor repair guy who tried everything and anyone he knew to try to get it fixed but couldn't, so after 10 months he admitted defeat and gave it me back. Even still today the picture on it is stunning but had to replace it with my current panel XL2411Z back in January 2014.
If anyone knows of any CRT repair places in the UK please let me know as I would love to get it fixed before it becomes so old that no-one at all will be able to fix it and/or it becomes stupidly expensive as more and more places no longer do CRT repairs anymore.
