CRT to TFT *New Owners* Q&A's :o)

Finally replaced my old trusty 19" CRT Monitor with a Samsung 22" TFT and I am very impressed with my new upgrade. One question I would like to ask to all those experianced TFT owners @ OcUK is when I am playing games I can notice a very faint ripple in the screen going up and down, is this the TFT Monitor refreshing itself as I play games ??? I am running this monitor at the recommended native resolution of 1680x1050 @ 60Hertz refresh rate all running from a 512MB 8800GTS. Thank you for helping a noob...

I'm honestly not sure, i don't recall it on my 226bw when i had one.

Maybe your just more observant than me ?

is it on VGA or DVI connection?

I have had this problem a few times, try putting vsync on in the game it should make it stop. If you get it when at desktop then I don't know.

i know if you get that at desktop its driver problems. also try setting the refresh to 59hz, see what happens (is not 59 then 70 or 75)
