I bought this stuff not so long ago, and my cpuz is concerning me... can someone let me know if this sounds right...

Memory SPD

Module 1 DDR2, PC2-6400 (400 MHz), 1024 MBytes, Crucial Technology
Module 2 DDR2, PC2-6400 (400 MHz), 1024 MBytes, Crucial Technology

could the ram be not setup right and therefore be showing 6400??

I bought it from OcUK @ 03-may-07, so i doubt they would believe that fact that i just noticed this if it is the incorrect ram...

Cheers All

I think you need to set the clocks speeds yourself...

I know i had to set the speeds myself for my Crucial Ballistix 2GB PC2-5300C3

post a screen shot of the SPD table in CPUz m8.

Also you should have a part number on the Dimms and the anti-static bags - post this too.

But the SPD table should have the memory timings programed for 533mhz as 5,5,5,15,30,2T

cheers for the reply, but the ram i bought is 8500 and its showing as 6400?

You will need to set it manually in the BIOS. The timings will probaiblly be wrong aswell.
