Crucial Ballistix 2GB DDR2 PC2-8500C5 problems

hi i just brought a Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR Edition" Retail / Asus Maximus Formula / 2GB Crucial Ballistix PC-8500 Dual Channel DDR2 Kit - Bundle and cant seem to get the memory running at 1066mhz cpu-z is saying that it is pc2 6400 400mhz?? ant ideas

alright mate what tab are you looking under? ive got the same memory & asked the same question & was told i wasnt looking at the right tab should be looking at the memory tab & it should say something like 533mhz which x2 = 1066

im looking ant the memory tab and it says dram frequency 408.0mhz :confused channels# single :confused:

have you got all the timings & voltage set corrent in the bios? mine was detecting as 6400 untill i changed it

Mine says its 6400 and its running around 500mhz a stick
