Bought 2 x 1GB of this from ocuk last year and one of the modules died on me, RMA them and another stick has just gone on me, its definalty the ram as it wont boot with a certain stick in with the other or on its own, but the other stick on its own is fine

Am i just unlucky or am i going to be better off RMA this, selling it and getting something else?

What voltage did you use on yours? I have 4x 1GB of Ballistix Tracers with the LEDs and I'm running them at 800MHz 4-4-4-12 2.0V. Seems okay so far. Only time will tell.

i just took them out the box and put them in lol

ill have a look into running them lower when i get them back

that wont effect games or anything will it?

I thought mine died last week but put the faulty stick back in the machine a coupls of days ago and it came to life! Now have 4 of the PC5300 stuff happily running at 1.1Ghz 2.1V.

Thats just a fraction over what I have mine running at too. I think its good stuff the PC5300. ;)

Had a few issues with one of my sticks dying, but turned out my motherboard was over volting it slightly. After the RMA I have it running at 2.15v @ 800 4-4-4-12 (iirc it doesn't like being at a lower voltage for some reason) and it's not caused me any trouble since (touch wood). these modules can easily do a lot more (1000+ as any people have posted), but I'm playing it safe.

I have the same RAM and one stick has just died on me as well. I have 4gigs of it and they have been working fine for about 3 months and now one of them just wont boot, but the others work fine. .
