I've got 2 PC's with these kits in them (soonto be 3 3900x and 2x 3700x) and I'd like to squeeze a little more performance out of them just because.

Has anyone here overclocked them or had success with getting the timings down to cl14?

I'm completely confused with RAM overclocking and haven't had much luck with Ryzen calculator so if anyone has settings or advice they could share I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
Scott

I'd try pushing up the ram speed while keeping the same timings as some chips can do up to 1900fclk so you can boost the ram to 3800 and still keep the 1-1 ratio but you will manually have to set this in the bios and even it boots and seems stable the run aida 64 dram and cache test for a couple of hours before a memtest overnight.

Have you tried changing the xmp profile in the bios ?

I've set the xmp and it performs as rated I'm wondering if anyone has pushed it further.

Would 3800 c16 perform as well as 3600 c14 if I can achieve it?

You would also probably find increasing the speed needs less voltage than tightening the timings.
