Outplay. Outmatch. Outlast. The future of performance memory is here.
In the final days of DDR3 technology, heavily overclocked performance memory topped out at around 3000 MT/s. However, in order to achieve this, you needed the right processor, the right motherboard, a PhD in overclocking, and the willingness to surrender everything in your wallet. Not anymore.

Crucial® Ballistix® Elite DDR4 memory cracks the DDR3 performance limit and debuts at 3000 MT/s – and that’s just getting started. Feed your 8-cores and draw upon the fastest speeds and bandwidths available.

You may not need a PhD in overclocking (which was only a joke in the first place), but you do need the right processor the right motherboard and the willingness to surrender everything in your wallet. Still, 1 out of 4 isn't bad.

And for all that you'd not get any significant performance increase in most stuff.

"Flood your memory bandwidth and process up to 24 gigabytes per second – a feat that’s nearly impossible to achieve with DDR3 memory."

*Looks at 60gb/s benchmarks* (Which still makes no real odds for most stuff over dual channel on haswell).
