Crucial Ballistix Tracer 6400C4

Hi,

Hopefully I'll be getting the above RAM with my new build...

I've heard a couple of stories of the RAM being quite prone to failure, what kind of experiences have you guys had with it?

It seems a lot of people have been having problems with the Crucial Ballistix RAM (I just found the thread about it).

What RAM can you guys recommend that's nice & stable. 6400 preferably & has the option to easily overclock

This is the Memory i would actually rather go for now, rock solid.

A little cheaper than the Crucial Ballistix as well

Is Cellshock a brand new RAM company then?

The sticks look taller than normal sticks which might cause problems with a Scythe Ninjas fan

Are they taller than normal?

That's exactly the same Micron RAM as the Crucial Ballistix, only when they break you'll have to send them to Germany for the RMA. As far as I'm aware it's only the PC5300 Balllistix that are failing, and those are being replaced as often as is necessary. Generally, the ones that are failing have been heavily overclocked (1000MHz+ usually) so you pays your money....
