I've never had the need to use Crucial's RMA service for memory so I hope somebody who has can answer this one for me.
A little while ago I sold some Ballistix Tracer memory on EBay to somebody.
It was won and it was sent out, everything paid for - perfect EBay transaction.
I've since been contacted by the buyer - it must now be about 2 months since the transaction to say that he's been having problems with his PC and Memtest confirms a memory fault.
Will Crucial deal directly with this guy with regards an RMA and getting them swapped?
He of course doesn't have an original order number/invoice from Crucial because I bought the memory from them - not him.
He's contacted me first and asked about getting them swapped.
We could go through all of the hassle of him returning them to me, me contacting Crucial, RMA, send them back...but I'd rather not if Crucial will deal with him direct.
Cheers.
