I do think that like Joker, I'll find it hard to "root" for a character that is at it's core, awful.

Looks quite fun in its own right but a bit of an odd choice for an heroine... she pretty horrible in the original cartoon - the “bash them over the head” line in particular sticks out!

There’s bound to be some ‘pro-women’ stuff but I didn’t get any ‘anti-men’ vibe from the trailer as some seem to have suggested is inevitable (not sure if there are any male leads at all going by this), but I never really get vibes like that anyway. Apparently the new Ghostbusters film was ‘anti-men’ but perhaps I’m just too robust to notice such things!

The Mulan remake was utter **** - easily my worst film I’ve seen in recent memory.

I quite liked it. Cruella, while not completely evil, is a little bad. Its far from a "white wash" and quite enjoyable.
