after distro hopping for the last 6 month i now plan on using chrunchbang on both of my laptops

any setup tips?

I was running it for a while but moved over to Arch with Openbox.

#! is very good though. Setup tips, not sure what sort of thing you are looking for information on? It's very minimal out of the box of course and the level of customisation you can do is pretty much endless. There are helpful links directly to the .config files for Openbox, tint2 and conky from install via right click menu. The config files themselves are pretty self explanatory and have helpful information within them also to help you along.

If you post more specifically what you plan to do or what you want from the OS I might be able to help you out a bit more :cool: But enjoy, it's a great distro that's extremely easy to use and config to exactly how you want it.
 
i can see why people like this os

its so lightweight and customisable but i dont think its for me

i am back to netrunner on my main laptop but have stuck with crunchbang on my small netbook
 
I realise you've switched away now, but if you ever dabble in future (or anyone finds this thread on Google), here is a decent post-install setup guide based on Waldorf. :)
