Can anyone tell me how to edit the items which appear on the OpenBox WM menu?

Right click -> Preferences -> Openbox Config -> Edit menu.xml

IIRC, they move to Debian as the source soon. Not sure how I feel about that TBH. I know Ubuntu is Debian based, but it's tweaked loads. I guess the repositories etc. will be the same?

I do love OpenBox though - OMG it's sooooo fast, and I love just being able to right click to access the main menu regardless of where my mouse is

I think moving to debian is a great move, I'm tryout CrunchBang beta now and it's very nice.

I haven't tried the old Ubuntu Chrunchbang so cannot comment.

Incidentally, what's the difference between the #!CrunchBang default install, and the lite install? What's missing exactly?

Programs, it doesn't install stuff like openoffice and a few other things

OO isn't installed by default in the normal version is it? Not in 9.04 any way, they use AbiWord. What are the 'few other things' you mentioned?

Also, I tried to install #! on my home PC this morning, on a new 1 TB WD Green HDD. It got 5% through the partition process and stopped. I thought it might me a dodgy drive, so tried another new HDD of the same size and brand, with the same results. I've Googled for compatibility issues but can't find anything.

Any ideas?

Yes, the .iso is fine mate, it's the same one I used to install it on this PC at work
