Just open up Steam and just saw this on the front page.

6 month subscription for £5.83 and royalty free and even more cheaper then unreal engine 4.

Too bad it's not that user friendly.

Personally I think the UnrealEngine4 deal is way better. With Unreal you only have to pay for 1 month and you get that version plus all the tutorials and examples up to that point to play with. You can stop your sub and keep UE4 forever.

Plus if you happen to get to a level where you want to actually release a game UE4 won't charge you any royalties at all upto $10,000 and more then that is only 5%.

Yeah i do agree UE4 is much better with all the documentation and tutorials available to newcomers.

Also paying for the 1month and canceling is 1 way of making it much cheaper then Cryengine but i think i would rather keep paying the montly bill to support the engine.
