Crysis 1 2007 - Where Can I download Real Lifesis 2?

Hi there, I been searching all over the net after reading an article on here about real lifesis mod and all the links that show up tell you to download it from 3dguru and all the links to the download page there dont work. Seems like they have stopped hosting the file. So does anyone know where I can get this mod from?

Does it have an offical website? or do you know if their is like a community modding website for crysis.

Already searched before posting, Crysis has been out 4 years now, and am presuming a lot of the mods/addons for this game are old too, which is why all the download links on the top websites no longer host the files, all the links are dead, and all the different forums I found pointed to the same website 3dguru which no longer had the files.

It's like you do a search on google, you find 50x websites, they all talk about this addon, and say "DOWNLOAD HERE!" you click download, nothing, dead links everywhere, which is why I posted.


...Anyways I just wanted to say that it's been so worth install reinstalling crysis today, I totally forgot about this game over the years and I remember now what happened, when this game came out my PC could hardly run it in low settings and it looked awful, really really bad, I remember white textures and things didnt display correctly, I think my graphics card didnt have the right technology to run it at the time.

Three graphics cards later and my ATI 5770 is running it maxed out but with no AA at 1680x1050 and it looks amazing, only got 30fps but it feels smooth to me so I've been enjoying it.

I've installed all 3 offical patches for the game so it's at 1.2.1 and I've downloaded "Rygel High Texture Mod" which I havent tried yet but will do later. Also need to find those foilage mods etc.

So far though am so impressed by this game, in my opinion this game has probably the best graphics I've ever seen out of any genre and on any format. Simply amazing. I've been playing all day, not sure how long, maybe 6 hours and yet I've probably only played 45 mins into the game because most of the time I've been staring at trees/water/shadows LOL!!....and rest of time I've been chopping down trees, moving boats off land and into water, and just doing crazy stuff. Seriously loving this game.

I know most of you have been playing this game for years already, but for me, this is like I'm playing crysis today for the first time ever.

If I hadn't of seen the screenshots people have been posting recently in verious threads I would have probably of never have tried this game, but am so glad I saw peoples print screens.

I've also been playing crysis 2 recently and I bet I've almost completed it as I'm around 12 hours in on hard, but I think crysis 1 looks better, I prefer jungle to city. So far I give crysis 1 10/10 and crysis 2 8/10, those scores are both for gameplay/fun/graphics.

Got too many games to play at moment, its getting ridiculous. :D

Words I'd use to describe this game: Amazing/god like/epic/sexy/beautiful! lol

Use texture pack 2. Texture pack 1 can be used until crymod goes back up, then replace pack 1 with the hi res foliage mod.

Don't use the nanosuit texture that comes with the rygel pack. It doesn't actually work :p

I only started playing crysis in october last year myself, I get so distracted with scenery etc.

Alright cheers mate, I'm just gona have some egg whites now and then I'll unzip this texture pack and start experimenting. I'd love to get my game looking as nice as it does in your screenshots. Mine looks good, but am defo not there yet haha

Also I wish I had a bigger monitor, I got a 20" widescreen which only does 1680x1050 but planning on getting a 27" at 1080p in couple of months, so should look a lot nicer on that.

Centurion can you please list all the relevant mods I should install for my Crysis. I have been reading thread but can't figure out which one to install and how to install them to make my crysis look as good as yours:(

Get Real lifesis, and also use the config that comes with it. This assumes you can play on very high.

Once crymod is back up, get the hi res foliage mod. If you still have a couple of fps to play with, get rygel's textures and ultra customizable nano suit.

To install real lifesis, you need Sandbox editor, which is located on your crysis disc.

Which way should we install it, with sandbox, or the way it says in the text file?

This is whats inside the txt file:

Hi all and i hope you enjoy this ToD + My Config + flowgraphs (most credit to [HP] as its a modded version of his Config)

its recommended that you can run very high + use the config for this ToD to look its best

To Install:

The config: take the autoexec.CFG and place it in
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Config

then it should be automatically set as default


The ToD:

either place it somewhere in your \levels foders or open up the SB2 editor and go to the terrain\Time of Day editor then import the ToD and add your prefered play speed :)

for playing it ingame and not in the editor (in the words of Insanto :P)

" you ave to "file/export to engine" first.
also if that doesn't work press record in the TOD tab and slide around once, then export again, then it should be in the gameFiles indefinately "


To use the flowgraphs:

open them in the flowgraph editor and save then export to engine as well

RECOMMENDED PLAY SPEED FOR TOD
0.0025

EDIT: Also do you know of a shortcut key or a method to make the hud disappear either temporarily or permanently.

The autoexec config goes into your crysis\game folder.

The tod file needs to be installed via the sandbox editor, like it says in the text file.

To make hud disappear: press the ` key (located above the tab key) while in game. Then type cl_hud=0

The hud will disappear. To make it reappear, type cl_hud 1
