Hi there people, I would like to ask you guys if you have had the same issues with the 1.9 patch and if you know of any methods to resolve this issue.
I found a thread on offical forums other day that I was reading about this issue and people were saying "man this sucks, I either have to play crysis without patches and deal with the nano suit bugs or I have to play with 1.9 patch and the game crashes and doesnt load, so therefore I would have to play the game in one go".
After reading their comments I wasnt sure what they meant by nano suit bugs because I was probably 90% through the game and hadnt noticed any bugs.
But since installing the 1.9 patch my old save wouldnt load, I read on their forums and they said you had to start the game again, so I was annoyed but I thought ok I will, I've installed the 1.9 patch and high res textures and got directx11 installed too. So I started a new game and it did my head in for first 5 mins because it doesnt let you skip all the intro scenes so had to watch all that again, and then I saved the game and quit, and then the next day (today) I login and it wont resume the game, even though I've just started again and only 10 mins into the game.
So this 1.9 patch is truly and royally messed up everything, not only can I not resume my old saves, but the game doesnt even allow you to play fresh? What the hell? I dont know how they could have messed this up so badly. Everyone on offical forums is playing hell about this too.
So I guess the only option left for me is to reinstall the game and hope my old saves work because I backed them up...I'll have to not play with the high resolution textures and not play with dirextx11 and just play the game vanilla.
That is unless you guys have experienced all this yourselves and know of a fix that I havent found yet?
