first time i played i stopped after an hour because was not getting into it. was told game gets better so forced myself to give it second try - needed to level my b-spec in GT5 anyway.
up to level 9 now in crysis 2 and it still blows nuggets!
such a boring and crappy game
1. xfire flicker, i need to play in windowed mode to avoid it.
2. boring story (was in othere crysis games as well - but at least non alien missions in jungle were great)
3. really average gfx - textures are crap for a crysis game. seems to me that crysis 1 had better gfx (or is that nostalgia?). and yes i am running at extreme settings @1900x1200 all maxed out even without crossfire
4. linear levels, feels like Doom more than Far Cry 1
5. combat is boring, just blast away. leaning for cover is console crap, let me decide when and where i peak
6. dog tags etc... are you kiding - am i a 15 year old console gamer? seriously what do i care about these pointless rewards.
7. didnt bother with multiplayer, never liked that game's multi anyway
clearly crytek wants to make a CoD. unfortunately CoD does my head in
guess what i am not going to finish this game, uninstall. may reinstall original far cry since it has been a long time since i last played it
sorry, but just needed to vent after such a waste of time. haven't played a decent FPS in years! Stalker was good, but Ukraine is just so depressing - i can't be bothered with Pripyat after playing first 2 games - just overdosed on grim settings
Please Ubisoft, sell Rainbow Six back to Red Storm.
