ok, purchased this yesturday as it was on sale. went to play it this morning and i get horrible screen tearing, even with vsync on.
i have updated the game, and installed the DX11 and High Res Texture packs, but still does it.
is this a bug or do i have some settings wrong?

Could be a crossfire issues with the DX11 update, try disabling crossfire. I take it you're setting vsync from the in game settings.

Try downloading (google it)

d3doverrider standalone

And disable vsync in all ur games, make d3doveride start with windows (helps with all things d3d) and set detection to low.

No more screen tear or fps drop. :)

same with single card too, if not worse as the game is really laggy too.

will give this a go when i get home. might even sort out the microstutter problem i get in fifa 11 too.

has CF/SLI not been around for decades now? surely if hardware manufactures are still making the technology its only fair software devs do their part too.

The ati microstutter option in the fifa11 settings not work for you?

I have a whole world of graphical issues with fifa11, it displays roughly 1/3 in full texture and the rest as if everythings on low.

Just a question about d3doverride, is this essentially the same thing as radeonpro? or is it better/more effective?

this seemed to fix it, other than i cant use the tripple buffer as it makes the games lag :( more vram i imagine.

everything on ultra at the moment (only 1024x768 as i left it all on defaults, just turned off ingame vsync) and seems to be running smooth :)
