My 5850 could run crysis smoothly at 1920x1080p

. So no problem with 5870. Plus as crysis 2 has lots of urban environment, so it may well be not as demanding as the original crysis, since that consisted of a huge jungle with all plants waving due to air

Forgive me, because I didn't play Crysis but the general summary I got from people I know was: "Yeah it looks great but it's pretty rubbish as an actual game."

Is it a game worth playing or worth looking at?

Well if the antiquated gpu's in a 360 or ps3 can id expect a 5870 to point at the game and give a vast Belly Laugh.

Then again this is a port so odds are it'll be even worse than the first game for its God like requirements.

Based on my sig, which can run most of Crysis smoothly at 1280X1024 on high (I seem to remember), do ya reckon I'd be fine for this?

Worth looking at as the game is rubbish. Far Cry1 was much better gameplay wise.......

Sometime this week you can probably buy Crysis + Warhead in the Steam sales as last year they sold them quite cheaply.

I thought both were ok, not amazing gameplay wise. Well worth a punt if you can find a set on the cheap. Warhead was the better game IMO

They still look amazing, and being a lone commando with superhuman powers running about the jungle has it's appeals

Fair enough. To be fair, it doesn't sound like a bad game on paper. Just heard it was a bit of let-down. Probably due to the hype.

Would the crysis go down further from £7.49. It is already at 25% discount. The same goes for the crysis pack which is also at 25% discount and is priced at £18.74?
