CRYSIS 2 Ultra CRAP FPS?

Hello,

I have recently installed the Directx 11 patch and High textures to Crysis 2. Im now getting about 34-42 FPS. Is this about what I should be getting or is something wrong?

SPECS:

I5 2500k Clocked to 4.5Ghz
MSI 570 PE
8GB vengeance ram.

What resolution? I wouldn't call that crap fps at all

thanks, I was just getting that much in the original crysis and didnt think this, was that system hungry.

In all honesty, I'd expect a game released in 2011 to require more juice than a game made in 2007

Although having said that, the original was truly an exception.

with myself and the high texture pack, i get pauses where the map seems to be "loading" then it catches up.. and frame rates are fine... does this happen to others?

not for me but i do see a considerable decrease in FPS and I am using a 6990.

Just make sure that your house can run it
