Crysis 2 v metro 2033. which story did you like best?

Tough question to be fair as the background story in metro is probably stronger than crysis 2's, yet the actual story you following during the game arguably isn't that strong. Even though I'm not a massive fan of the game, I'd say crysis 2 has the edge on this one as the storyline specifically for the game constantly develops whilst trying to fill in some of the holes in the pre-existing story from crysis 1 + warhead.

Metro 2033 no doubt. I had to keep playing Metro as I was so into the story I had to know what happened next.

Crysis 2 was dull and took me a while to complete as I would play 30 mins or so and get bored and play something else.

Crysis 2. Really enjoyed the first 2 and the update to the 2nd really added to the game. While the story isn't the most original I find the game pulls you in. I have had Metro for 6 months and I just cant get into it. Just feels slow and boring.

Yet to play Crysis 2. I thought the story line was reasonable in Metro, and if it's anything to go by, the first Crysis game story telling effort would probably leave me siding with Metro. However, until I pick up Crysis 2 it's only speculation.

Neither are that great story-wise tbh. Overall i would say that Crysis 2 is the better game slightly, but i do think that Metro is just a little bit overrated.

Crysis 2 is a great game with incredibly bad story (WTH did Richard Morgan do..).

Metro is a great game with decent story and interesting "good" ending (there are 2 endings, most people get the bad one).

Metro, although it's probably more due to the time frame, if Crysis 2 was a little more post-apocalyptic it would have worked a lot better.

Tough call, probably Crysis 2 for consistency as much as anything. Metro starts building up a decent plot but has a tendancy to go a bit too leftfield and stuff (aka putting in some random 'cool ****') at times as there isn't sufficient suspension of disbelief to accept it.

I don't think either are particularly outstanding, it's a bit like asking whether people prefer white or brown bread, one may be better than the other but neither will really define your culinary tastes.

i got the bad one too. how do you get the good one? is it something to do with those visions?

Metro 2033 has the better story/atmosphere & you can follow it Crysis2 is very confusing/jumbled up. Neither game has great stories either both are pretty poor :(
