Crysis 2

Does anyone know if Crysis 2 is definitely confirmed for PC?

I just ask because ‘games radar’ have had a few articles on Crysis 2 saying how good it is on PS3 etc but no mention of PC.

I also remember when just after the first Crysis came out Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli said they would not do another title on PC due to the pirating (TPB) and 'the like'.

Just wonderering if since then he has mellowed and we can expect Crysis 2 on PC. Would be a shame if not with all the Dx11 and Eyefinity goodness available.

Thoughts?

I remember Crytek saying they would not do a PC exclusive, but I don't remember them saying anything about not doing PC at all.

ohh yeah.. think your right there. So they prolly just meant that Cry2 would include consoles. Interesting..

Since they have demoed the game running on a PC, i struggle to believe it wont

It would be a pretty shocking decision to not release it on PC.

They like showing off their graphics and the only place to do that is on pc.

They sold a solid amount of units on the PC, unlike Alan Wake which wasn't even released. That history of solid sales will ensure Crysis 2 gets a release on PC, even if doing so is a hassle for them.

Latest EDGE magazine (received my subscription copy on Friday) has on the following words on the front cover, concerning their article on Crysis 2; '...on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC'.
