Crysis 3 - Water problem - white lines help!

Hello everyone!

I've been experiencing some odd problems with crysis 3 when running through/on top of water, with white lines (thin and about 4/5 inches long apprx) flashing very quickly on my screen.

This only seems to happen in crysis 3 and when running through/on top of water and wondered if any one else has come across it. Far cry 3 etc seems to all be fine.

system is:

3820
p9x79 pro
16gb ram HyperX
KFA2 670 4gb
Corsair 850 psu

I don't get anything like this, is your card overclocked? tried another driver?

nope havent overclocked it at all. just very odd cause all other games (FC3, Bioshock, etc) are perfect, and it happens so fast youd probably miss it. haven't tried a different driver yet currently on 314.21, having heard bad things from friends etc about 314.22.

Maybe a fresh install of Crysis would sort this unless you have tried already.

was just about to try this! very odd thing lol, doesnt really bother me but would be nice to know what it is or if other ppl have had the same problem etc

Yeah, Odd problem when I used to PC Game had certain unexplainable issues similar to what you are having which to my knowledge was not hardware related and a fresh install usually sorted the problem.

Let us know how you go on if you decide to do so.

yes very odd

, but thank you so very much, currently re downloading from origin so will def let you know if that does it.

I know a lot of people had some odd problems in certain games whilst other dont and vise versa, but PC gaming has changed!!

Try the new Beta drivers mate, they work great on crysis 3 for me.

the 320.00 ones? was gonna ask about those....this shall be my next step

Yeah, they are fine mate. Its more than likely a driver problem, make sure Motion Blur is turned off too, its a pointless addition that eats fps

was thinking that too - a driver problem. ook cool I shall download those tomorrow and give them a test drive. is it? u know i didnt know that I'll make sure thats off. may give me some more ranking points too haha

you know didnt even know it was a a fps eater! tonight shall test out a newly re installed crysis 3 and the driver update 320.00 see how that goes
