Has any heard any info about this game? Is crytek making it I thought it might have been mentioned at the e3 show.

Nope, nothing at all been mentioned about it. I don't think the series ever caught on the way they hoped with the exception of the first hammering pc's of the day and looking really good for the time.

They should leave this franchise.
Crysis 1 and Warhead were genuinely good games, sure the gun play could be a little "rough" (The way you can hear each hit was a bit naff), but the story seemed pretty cool.

Crysis 2 was crap, ruined the franchise for me, and 3 I've not played, but it can't save it, because the story's already off the rails.

1 was great, 2 i couldnt get into it, I've only just started playing 3 so im not ready for 4 yet :)

Agree 100%.

Absolutely enjoyed Crysis 1, spent hours just punching stuff up and messing about in the editor.

Crysis 3 is a return to form.

Weren't Crytek suffering financially?

Does it redact Crysis 2 and the comic? If not then it can't be a return to form, because the story's just full on ruined. 2's suit was a gimped version of the first one. The enemy aliens were straight off Halo rip offs.

Alien Embassy/Time travel. Jesus Christ.

I was so disappointed when I completed Crysis 1, because I didn't think it was going to end where it did.

Thought "Oh, here's another mission, things are getting interesting", but no.
Prophet's set off back to the Island, and we'll never get a true follow up.

Some of the bigger battles in Crysis 1/Warhead were brilliant. The tank mission, the scale of that map was huge given the type of game it is.

The alien boss fight at the end of 1 was just so good visually.

Sad thing about the crysis storyline it all went **** up when they went on the warpath about piracy and crysis 2 was a sort of reboot in some terms as the story never really followed on properly from the first, plus bringing consoles into the equation they had to more or less settle on an alien invasion story that only vaguely referenced the original.

It all went to pot in honesty, didn't like 2 and 3 was visually good but nothing epic and not something I rave about. The maps were boring and two dimensional compared to what they could have done. It didn't help that it was super easy and so yeah, not bothered by 4 other than maybe what they do to push things visually.

Maybe they will do it for their next release of their engine once they sort their finances out.

Crysis is the worst game for downloading off Steam, it just will not start, missing files, security protection, ``you have too many PCs on your network``` bla bla bla.

it's impossible to fix (crysis warhead), it's been in my library for years, it's a great shame

Never had a problem downloading either game and playing them recently.

I would prefer to see them out the collective power of those who worked on crisis and work on a new project even if they just do the graphics and such and leave story to someone like naughtydog.

Only way I've managed to get Crysis and Warhead working is by using cracked EXE files.
