Crysis 64 virus

Hi i brought and installed crysis yesterday, but after it had installed i went in the bin 64 folder and avg pops up and says threat detected crysis64.exe virus identified Obfustat.ZRT :eek:

I can and have been playing the 32 bit version but i am a bit concerned about the 64 bit version. I have tryed repairing the installation but it did not help.

Any ideas ?

yes, avg is crap its always throwing up false alerts.

So its not a virus then ?

One more problem though i can not play it in 64 bit mode every time i try to load it the screen goes black and stays like it for ages

If you bought it legit then it'll just be a false alarm, otherwise you only have yourself to blame.

It is a legit copy i could not wait to finish work yesterday so i could go and buy it

dont know if this helps but when i ran the demo it stayed black until i pressed ctrl altr del and brought up the task manager and then switched back to crysis

my AVG's never thrown up such an error for the 64-bit crysis bin.

oh yeah, just remembered that i use Avast! instead...

Yep, just disable AVG until the next update you download fixes it, it did the same for Bioshock and Stalker to.
