Crysis Ascension level

No matter what I do, the vtol always crashes because of those tornado things. It's uncontrollable, I have no clue what to do. Help?

EDIT: I would watch it on youtube, but for some reason, youtube vids are taken an age to load, even in 240p

Had the same problem myself but you have to use the speed up thing early on to simply avoid them. My dad did this first time whilst I kept getting taken out by the tornado's constantly for a good hour or so lol.

It's been a long time since I played that level, but from memory it was just a case of keep moving, don't stop or slow for anything and steer WELL clear of any tornadoes - lots of time I thought I'd be clear and ended up getting grabbed.

On the Youtube side, are you running Avast anti-virus? My main PC's youtube has been buffering constantly and refusing to play anything for months where my other PC's were fine (with much lower specs on the same internet connection). Saw someone mention Avast as a possible cause, uninstalled, chucked MS Security Essentials on instead and it's been Youtubeing perfecting ever since.

Thanks guys, managed to do the level finally, got to say that was one of the worst levels I think I've ever done in my life

So far the last level is little better

Congrats on getting through it. I love Crysis, but that is the worst level of any game I have ever played. There's a big random element in the winds that buffet you, so you can do everything right and still get driven to the ground and smashed to pieces. You just have to keep trying, doing exactly the same thing, accept you're going to die repeatedly, till you eventually get through it. Really bad level design.

I got bored shortly after the whole thing got iced over, at the bit where you get the alien chain gun thingie. How far from the end was I?

It's been that long since I completed this game that I can't even remember the level in question!
