I have just ran the crysis benchmark in 1680 x 1050, all very high, no AA, DX9

34.635fps average

Same but with 4xAA gets 25.41fps.

These are righer than I expected, im sure when i ran it before with any AA in the game it got about 3fps. Is the benchmark correct or is it not a reflection on the game itself?

Depends what sort of hardware your using.

I got similar readings to that on my AGP system (still tickin over :D)

But the resolution was only at 1024*768

Without knowing the hardware it's impossible to say.

I didn't think Dx9 had very high? If so then it's hardly a fair test running a benchmark with a custom config is it :p

Im guessing that those results are about right for an 8800GT at that res, especially as you are using the Q6600 (still one of the best quad cores around IMO)

How about a radeon HD5970 with i7 @ 3.6 with 6gb triple chan ddr (same settings as above, dx10)?

Here was my results:
Play Time: 42.28s, Average FPS: 47.31
Min FPS: 19.79 at frame 154, Max FPS: 59.32 at frame 1586
Average Tri/Sec: -20031236, Tri/Frame: -423441
Recorded/Played Tris ratio: -2.16
!TimeDemo Run 1 Finished.
Play Time: 35.56s, Average FPS: 56.24
Min FPS: 19.79 at frame 154, Max FPS: 59.44 at frame 713
Average Tri/Sec: -23291800, Tri/Frame: -414180

!TimeDemo Run 2 Finished.
Play Time: 35.38s, Average FPS: 56.53
Min FPS: 19.79 at frame 154, Max FPS: 60.63 at frame 63

Very playable, take it this is at the same res too?

OP is running in DX9, if it was DX10 very high he would be doing about 10 FPS, and what bench are you all running, OP states it's crysis warhead but not which benchmark.

OP states it's crysis warhead but not which benchmark.

Where did I state that? I just loaded crysis benchmark from the folder, set very high, DX9, 1680 x 1024 and ran it...

later i put 'Very high is listed as it is in Crysis Warhead' I meant its the same in the warhead menu (very high is available with DX9)
