Hi, as title really, been playing crysis again and have twice now had the same issue. The display driver fails, the game crashes out, then I get a windows message saying that the display driver has stopped working but has now recovered.

My 8800GT is running at 684MHz Core 1710MHz shaders and 920 MHz memory. Will take these down to 605 core, 1625 shaders and 900 memory for time being, but this didn't happen on the first run through of Crysis at the speeds I posted!

My CPU is clocked at 350MHz FSB stable, memory at 840MHz stable.

Any ideas, what the issue is, drivers are (7.15.11.6925) - 169.25 WHQL versions

Thanks

Andy

That's a good sign of an unstable overclock. That happend to me twice during 3DMark, I had to back the shader clock down a bit (was finding the max shader clock at the time)
