crysis demo graphics problem

Just got my new PC with a HD4850 (stock clocks/45% fan 70C load) playing crysis demo on high @ 1680x1050

im getting weird artifacts in the shadows on crysis, every shadow cast has weird yellow artifacts on it, if i turn the shadows off i get no artifacts at all

dont get any artifacts in any other games at all

Anyone had this? problem with crysis demo or my gpu?

Odd problem - haven't heard of that before.

If I was presented with this issue, the first thing I would do is remove my driver sets and the crysis demo, and reinstall them.

If the problem persists, try under-clocking the card. If they go away with the card under-clocked, then it's time for an RMA I'm afraid

Well i tried it with a underclocked core and memory and still the same problem persists, tried loads of other games and its working fine zero artifacts so i think it must be a problem with the demo.

I have ordered the full game now so when it arrives i shall try it, if i still get them ill try reinstalling the graphics driver
