I tried the demo of Crysis again yesterday and was actually enjoying the atmosphere of it, however I'm wondering if a few things have been fixed between demo and retail (or patched)

The mouse felt very laggy and loose, my FPS were fine and yet there seemed to be a maximum turn rate which made controls feels spongy. Is this the same in the retail version?

AI- I was about a mile away from a boat and hidden in the bushes when a boat opened fire on me, there were several other instances of super vision from the bad guys.

Does this plague the game or just the demo?

Cheers!

ai wise they do see you now again but not as much as the demo as i can take them out with snipers most of the time without detection.

Retail is pretty much the same. The lag you're experiencing is the blur and motion features (you know when you move the mouse quickly it blurs), you can turn them off to stop it feeling spongy, I also hated that feature.

As for boats and enemies seeing you miles off, yup they still do in retail. I found that using the cloak helped loads and made the game way easier.

there is NOT a single thing that you can't chance with a bit of research in crysis/warhead, i mean almost everything is editable, been getting back into it myself and trying some settings in the console, also getting some shocking results! for example (don't quote me on this because this happens for me) the game runs faster with SSAO enabled than it does with it disabled  you can also edit how the enemies detect and deal with you i believe as well, including vehicles but i have never messed with that, should give it a look, see if you can stop those vehicles having ridiculous sight ranges :) also worth noting edge AA for me has absolutely zero impact on performance, FRAPS shows the FPS as the exact same with edge AA as it does without. HDR has very little impact on performance too and greatly enhances the atmosphere side of the game! :p

The mouse problem you describe sounds like mouse smoothing which can be turned off in the settings.
