Hey Guys,

I've been playing Crysis this past week and all has been fine untill i reached this reckoning level, the one where your on the aircraft carrier defending against the aliens.

I've done research on the web and the only fix i can see is playing it in DX9 mode. i clicked the properties on the Crysis icon and theres nothing about DirectX9 there??? I have DirectX10 on Vista and there deosn't seem to be a way to revert back to DirectX9 that i know of.

Is there anything else that will resolve the problem?

an indication of your graphics card might help though you're gonna have to resize your sig as it is. The end game does rape pretty much any graphics card if you have the detail turned up.

Crysis has a bug if it's crashed - it corrupts the savegames sometimes, have you tried going back to the previous level and replaying it up until that point?

I had the same issue, level would load up fine but gradually my fps would get lower and lower until finally the game would stutter pause and jerk like mad until it froze. There's a significant memory leak in that part of the game with certain setups, I managed to get through it using dx9.

I just finished this last night and was having the same problem. As soon as I switched to dx 9 the problem went away, are you sure its definately running in dx9 after you changed the shortcut? Type in the command for fps, it should tell you there what dx is running.
