Crysis + gamepad = hard to grab enemies?

I have real trouble grabbing the soldiers in Crysis with a 360 pad. I can be right next to them, but the HUD never displays "grab enemy" except for about 1 soldier in 10.

I can get right up next to them and jab the X button all I like, and nothing happens except I get shot and killed

Seemed to be much easier using KB+mouse.

Meh, I suck at this game anyhow. If the Koreans spot me, I die :/ They're just so accurate.

It's just annoying me atm that the only viable way of killing on Delta is to abuse the hell out of cloak.

Ie de-cloak head-shot re-cloak, ad-infinitum.

I have tried all the way through the game to get into open firefights, throw barrels, etc, but it's just impossible when it only takes a single burst of Korean gunfire to kill you.

But that's the trouble. With cloak (abuse) game is too easy, without cloak (abuse) game is too hard :/

Getting in a vehicle is a death-sentence too... which means all I can do is run around cloaked. Gets boring.
