Crysis: lessons learned

i've ordered warhead, but one thing i want to see is a side by side fps comparison between crysis and warhead.. on a few different hardware setups

not yet, but they will come when warhead is released no doubt on friday. though i must say its good that they patched the original, my first play through 1.0 was all medium/high and still jumpy in parts but when i installed 1.1 it was high/very high all the way through with no problems, not even the carrier levels in vista64 DX10, saying that i think driver updates for card helped a tad too :) would love to play it running perfectly with everything topped out
 
i was thinking of getting them up for comparison
might do a few shots of crysis before /after the warhead patch
 
I reckon it'll be a while yet before we see any performance patch for Crysis. Still, it will be interesting to see the comparison shots between Original Crysis and Warhead. After reading that interview, I must admit that I am much more excited about this release!
 
I'd like it if they done a GPU benchmark on warhead that follows the same path as the one on Crysis, then we could see if there really is much of a difference.

vista in DX9 mode, with custom settings (HDR, edge AA and various others) runs well and looks awesome, it definately has a sweet spot if one can find it, don't doubt for a second it can look like there pre-release footage either :)
