Crysis Motion Blur?

Human eyes are unable to take in information quick enough to retain details while moving at high speeds.

I play with motion blur on. Apart from anything it will make motion appear smoother at lower frame rates. It's partly why film looks smooth at only 25fps.

Motion blur may be 'realistic' but surely realism is a moot point in a world were we have a suit giving us superhuman powers and are running around blasting aliens?

Personally I also disable motion blur in games because a) it usually gives a performance boost; and b) it makes it slightly harder to aim/drive.

That's always one of the first things I turn off in games these days if I notice they have it. I think the problem is its over done. If they toned the blur effect way down I think it would add more to the feel of the game rather than feel over the top.

Well Crysis has a slider so you can set how much you want.
