Crysis Multiplayer Beta now on Fileplanet

I thought you still had to be a subscriber to get keys even for the next lot of batches, just not a founders club sub.

so i would think it would be for us late afternoon.
if the last one was 2.30pm PST... well..
I think fileplanet says 02:30 PST, which on a 24 hour clock isnt PM.

I meant in regards to the founders club membership, it's not needed. I wasn't clear on my post so I apologise.

Payment required to access the Beta? No!

We have read a lot of posts about people who mentioned that you need to pay additional money to be able to join the Beta. Just let me get this straight – this is definitely not the case. When you have a subscriber account you will be able to sign-up for one of the upcoming batches.

The payment many of you have been discussing about was related to the Founder’ s Club membership of Fileplanet which was needed to get one of the very few places in the first batch. Founder’s Club membership is not necessary to take part in the upcoming batches.

Fileplanet really isnt that bad. I am always subscribed to them, they have a hell of a lot of files available with very fast download servers and they do get a lot beta's that no one else has. I don't mind paying a few £'s a month for that

Aye same here. Been paying for FP for close to 4 years now. Don't like having to queue for downloads or wait for them to be hosted elsewhere. Nice to have a few perks every now and then. To be honest it really isn't that expensive either.

Thing is, at uni i do have a decent connection. I regard a decent connection as anything over MaxDSL, so 8+ Mbps. And when i use Fileplanet i actually get a damn decent speed on their free servers, usually 1 meg a second down.. so i dont really see the point in subscribing.. :p

Subscribing doesn't necessarily mean you get max speeds. You just get to the front of the line and have the priority over others. Its the same with any other file hosting site. At peak hours the speed is obviously going to go down than off peak. But i think Fileplanet keep up pretty well seeing as the amount of people that use it is huge.

by saying subscribers only get keys does that mean people who have any type of account or just people with an account they pay for?
