Crysis Multiplayer Beta now on Fileplanet

Apparently there is a bug with low settings being chosen automatically in the main menu, so some of the screenshots have low settings enabled.
 
pffft. Its a beta for multiplayer... the graphics are bound to look a little more rubbish.

Look at R6 Vegas.... graphics are completely different in SP to MP. Just so it runs smoother.

& with GRAW.

Default settings are with everything set to low.

When I first played it I was like 'What?!? This looks terrible' then I realised and had to change them.
 
Why aren't there more screenshots? And will people learn to resize them nicely.. please?

And save with low compression to make them look prettier :)
 
Do people really just press 'play' as soon as something's installed?
I always spend the first 5mins or so setting all the options to max before starting for the first time and then knock them down as needed.
 
That's not the issue, when people have selected high, the game puts them down to low again, or so I hear. I didn't make my first post clear. :)

Indeed thats what i do. Hopefully my 8800GTS will cope at 1280x1024 on high. Doubt ill get any AA or AF in there.

EDIT: Then again its still only in beta. Im not expecting flawless frame rates.

If you keep setting it and applying, it'll eventually keep them on high.

It kept doing that for me. Resolution, audio and graphics kept going to low. I'd reset and apply, then they'd go back to low. Once they finally stay on high, you won't have to worry about resetting them as it won't change anymore.
