hate to say it, but I can think of 2 immedately... 1stly Zelda: OOT, well very chicken like cookoos. and 2ndly Fable.... There must be others...

bioshock is on rails how is that better gameplay
it's just plain daft to dis crysis it will blow bioshock out
of the underwater city
 
If it turns out that they can keep the graphics with a nice gameplay too, that's a classic with no doubt, they're gonna have a hard time with the plot after Bioshock though.

Theres so much to a great game
Plot
character
atmosphere
guns
gameplay
sound
graphics
finished package

I doubt crysis will beat bioshock because that game fills all the above while as has been said, crysis looks like far cry but better graphics.

Exactly, and bioshock has completely amazing graphics too :)

And yeah aliens are a bit played out, so are zombie-thinges but bioshock twisted it nicely :)

will do anything but totally blow you away i suggest you watch the new crysis videos
Bioshock is very repetitive when you think about it properly
splicer after splicer it just has nice graphics it's very much a closed off on rails game.
You will all be eating humble pie when it's out
and saying oh yea it is actually better than bioshock
i suggest you read up properly before making judgments.
Crysis will be the best looking best playing most engrossing
pc title to date i guarantee it.

All games are repetitive, some just hide it better than others.

You are seriously having a laugh pretending you know everything about a game from a few videos and interviews. Strange as from the same information others have come to a totally different opinion than yourself... oh wait, thats it - these are just opinions.
 
It all depends what you want from a game. In this case its what someone personally wants from an FPS. For example Bioshock - If you want an awesome scarey FPS then Bioshock is the absolute best you can get. Its this same with Crysis (although as someone said, its just specualtion until the games release) if you want an incredible futuristic action FPS then Crysis should be the perfect game...

ITS ALL PERSONAL OPINION! People cant just say, this game is crap becuase blah blah blah. Becuase what you think is crap may just be what someone see's as the perfect game.

game will be
better in
the long run
as you haven't
played both.
 
crysis v bioshock i think crysis will be the better game and it has more playabilty plus *** sound like a gd mutiplay as well

no i havent played crysis but iv watch it very closely from the first day crytek sed thay where making it and if u think about it and read up on crysis u will notice that im rite
 
You're basing it on videos, pretty much all of which I have seen as well... it still doesn't put me in a position to say it is the better game. It looks amazing but so have a lot of games, films etc. before their release and turned out rubbish.
 
no not just vids i read all the info as well and like it havin non scripted ai sounds fun;) plus the the way u take out vehicles insted of shotin the **** out of it till it dies insted shot the heilcopters missile pod and it blows up and carse it to crash or shot the propeller so it drops out of the air plus its the same in mutiplayer

Bioshocks AI is not scripted either, they made the AI very dynamic, things will wonder round a level and may completely ignore the player unless provocked. Some will be scripted for story reasons (in both games probably) but the majority is unscripted (apparently, as I haven't played the full game yet I don't know for sure). Also the AI thats been in the crysis vids has been very poor, a lot of people were very worried by this. This could just have been for the videos to be shot without the player constantly being killed. Crysis will have better graphics than bioshock but gameplay wise no one can say because as far as I'm aware there isn't even a playable demo out yet.
