Meh comes to mind when i think of crysis. what does it have that other FPS does not?

Come to think of it..... ALL FPSs from now on should be set from the way COD4 is turning out:cool:

it is your own opinion like just venting mine ...... no one is realy right or wrong .... :D
 
i dont see crysis as an amazing revolutionary game in terms of gameplay, only in graphics, bioshock is an example of the gameplay side, and cod is just cod, more of what people like me want :)
 
but graphics on COD4 look superb aswell.

COD4 seems so much deeper than crysis. i love all the lvluping and pimping of guns and the perks.

and as usual you will have a superb storyline.

crysis seems like same old with the story line.

cod 4 has pushed it by jumping straight into now they should have released a pc version of cod3 and upgrades so it went to nalm or korea or the gulf then now ......

Can you do that in the SP mode as well? Going to be intresting if you can but I thouht it was only for MP.

Power Struggle in Crysis will be better than any other MP games out there anyway. :p
 
I'm looking forward to modding it, a lot.

The engine is absolutely amazing.

Just do some reading, there is a lot beneath the game functionality and graphics that you're just not seeing. I don't blame you really as I doubt more than a small minority of gamers really think about it, but it's almost certainly why you aren't hyped up about it.

I think they are forming an opinion based on what information is freely available.

I agree with the OP that Crysis does not currently look that fantastic, gameplay wise of course - it just looks like Far Cry that's had a makeover. However, I hope I am proven wrong.
 
I dont really see what the attraction is, yea it looks cool but funilly enough the best games ive ever played weren't all sugar coated with crap

CoD:UO is still the best FPS atm and tahts 4 years old
 
The thing that Crysis offers and no other game offers, is its impressive engine (graphics and gameplay).

Plus...what other game do you know of where you can pick up a chicken and throw it into a shed? :p

Same here.
Cod:uo had the best balance. They naile dit on that game. The guns were perfect, maps were great, the health style was perfect.
 
that nanosuite mode is gonna be hell fun... I dont remember any shooter where you can grab vehicles and throw it in the air....
 
I can see this game being fun for a while(like farcry) because it has all of these uber cool features

But i just cant justify a £800 ish system to play such a game when ill get bored of it in a week >_<

I mean, im not even looking foward too moh:a and cod4 - Maybe im a sad nerd who's heart lies in CoD:UO or im just gettin bored with games :D

The PC already has lots of FPS games - I'd quite like to see some different genre's (racing? fighting?) done to a similar standard. :) I'll probably play crysis tho, as I quite like far cry.
