crysis question

Could be worth a try with most of the settings turned low/off, but to be honest.... why bother?

Would ruin the game IMHO - just wait until that machine in question has a better GPU and more RAM.
 
I played on the same spec, but used 2gb on low... was ok, but then upgraded to 8800gt and the opening scene blew my mind with the awesomeness :P
 
apparently the new crysis uses over 2gb of RAM at parts, which isn't good for me either if that's true as i only have 2gb. if you're playing the original crysis you'll need atleast 1gb RAM. and the graphics card may struggle, my 7300gt struggled to play it so had to upgrade.
 
Get a lovely 8800GT, theyre cheap as chips these days!

Even the 256Mb version this week would be a mahOOsive upgrade, for a lowly £45!

LOL - i just sold a 7600GS card on AGP on the bay yesterday, for £40 :p Fools....
 
lets face it people on the bay have no idea about anything.......
I had a big daddy figure from my collectors edition, I sold the figure alone for 38quid.
I then proceeded to buy another collectors edition for 360 including the figure for 25quid lol crazy.
Side tracked.... get the 8800GT fantastic cards :)
