edit: its the farcry devs so nothing to worry about. Should scale well with both low end and high end (and future!) machines. ...hrmm interesting.

Amazing screens, but i cant help think that they are:
a) a bit small
b) touched up

Agreed, The foliage in the foreground looks doctored on the left picture.

Stange as its the real picture, Maybe it was just done to make it match the right one.

Amazing screens, but i cant help think that they are:

Putting my paranoid hat on sometimes i think that Graphics card manufacturers and certain software development companies are in cahoots together to help sell both games and the latest uber graphics card.
Often the impression thats given is that you the customer must upgrade to the bestest card eva to play our game in all its glory.

It never used to be this bad in the old days....or maybe it did and ive just forgotten...itll come back to me one day i guess..... just not today

although like some of you have mentioned - I doubt any of us can make it look that good unless we own the Holodeck from Starship Voyager.

That said - Far Cry does still look wicked and we can only imagine what this ones gonna do.

Hey, you might be onto something there, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for any subtle "THE WAY IT'S MEANT TO BE PLAYED" logos spinning across my screen the next time I play :eek:

Can't say they are that great really. You can't see **** they are way too small. Make any in game screenshot that small and it will look realistic as well. These shots show nothing new or anything even remotely interesting.

and tbh, i think its showing off that the ry engine can pretty much do anything with ease.

agreed, if the pics were a decent size it would be pretty easy to tell which is real n which is in game. I aint watched any of the tech demos n thought 'omg! i dowloaded Im a celebrity get me outta here by mistake!'
