1024x768-Crysis-Mster3.0-with Textur-no AA-no AF : 59 Fps

1680x1050-Crysis-Mster3.0-no Textur-no AA-no AF : 26 Fps
1680x1050-Crysis-Mster3.0-with Textur-no AA-no AF : 26 Fps


Haven't tried it myself i don't have crysis installed
 
i can't see the difference :confused:
they look prety much the same form the first few compare shots

edit: nvm the ones later on have small differences

Not exactly large differences...
 
I always found crysis textures to be very good, and from the comparison shots the differences aren't that substantial.
 
some of the screenshots showing the sand and beach look terrible, why everyone seems to think a higher bump figure = better is beyond me, its the subtle detail of crysis that makes it look so life like, i feel some of these mods just make the game look more like a good looking game than a take on reality
 
Guys , its not like anybody is forcing you to install them... You make it seem as if it was just released in a patch :D

never once playing Crysis did I ever think it looks life like ... selective screen shots from parts of the crysis vids maybe but never once running around playing the actual the game.

IMO Crysis is just that .. a good looking game so anything that makes it look like an even better looking game is great.

EDIT: Downloading the mod now :)

We know that, I hadn't posted earlier because the shots posted in the link didn't really show anything suprerior imo to what is already there.

Judging by this thread and its comments the consenus appears to be that this MOD isn't that great, someone made a comment on the water above and that was the screenshot for me that made me think the same as some of the others here.

Crysis does look lifelike but at times it does not, BUT it did take a step in to the reality vs game graphics ...or something :cool:

When I first played this and I looked at the grass and other environments I thought to myself bloody hell this is some step forward. Again, my own opinion though.

The closest CGI I have seen to real life is beowulf. Does beowulf look kinda realistic...yeah I guess.

Crysis is a game and ofcourse does not look anything like a CGI film so if a CGI film just about gets a "yeah I guess it looks kinda life like" what hope in hell does a game have?

Crysis is the best grapics of any game I have ever played but to say it looks realistic or life like is pretty silly imo.

Ask yourself would any normal person confuse shots of actual in game crysis for real life?

In a 10 years time no doubt you will look back and laugh at this converstaion.

I still remember at the time my friends telling me the original tombraider looked like real life now how stupid does that seem now?

EDIT: Even that screenshot in the OP post the corridor i.e. what you see in first person when running around does not look that great
