Crysis VERY choppy, menu screens and all.

Just installed crysis on a mates machine and its EXTREMELY choppy, even on the crappy adverts at the begining.

Specs:
E4500 @ Stock
Ati 3850pro
2gb OCZ Platinum Revision 2 XTC
Gigbyte DS3R P35

Any ideas on how to smoothern it out?

Just a random question: Does he have dual screens?
Some games dislike dual screens enabled and make games stutter anywhere.

What OS ?

Kinda sounds like a hard drive accessing problem. Has he tried reinstalling the game?

Only got the one screen, havnt tried reinstaling yet, too much effort

Not sure if it has a dual cards option like COD4? If so enable it as that was a problem in COD4
