Sorry to start a new thread for this, but all of the other Crysis threads seemed pretty old, so i didnt want to dig up an old one.

Anywho, my question is, when playing Crysis online, do you have to have a headset plugged in to hear people using mics, or will it play through your speakers?
The reason i ask this is becuase, I have never heard a single person using a mic when playing crysis, but every player has the little mic symbol next to their name except for me ( i dont have a mic ).
And therefore a follow up question, depending on the answer to the first;
Do many people on here use a mic in Crysis?

Thanks ;)

Jack

It'll play through whatever soundcard you've set to primary in Windows - which I expect your speakers are connected to.

Yep they are, thats what the in-game sound plays through, but you never hear anyone speaking. So can i assume that not many people use mics for Crysis?
:confused:

while we're on the subject is it possible to use am xbox 360 headset pluged into a wired 360 controller in crysis wars?

i cant find any definitive answer on the net anywhere, it recongnises the mic in windows fine but doesnt seem to recognise it in crysis at all and there's no mic next to my name - not that anyone ever speaks in crysis wars anyway but it bugs me! thanks
