Crysis Warhead - £4.99 New

found a solution - set overscan to maximum in catalyst control, then launch game in windows mode, set resolution to 1920x1080 and then in game it takes up full screen if press alt and enter it goes back to 24 or 50hz mode

Its for the multiplayer, you're right.

I've bought things of the EA downloader and they're still there WAY over a year later.
 
Hmm, I just spent another 2 hours downloading that second 6.6Gb file, wondered what the devil it was.

At least download speeds stayed respectable this time, 1.2Mbps all the way through.

@comments on the EA Downloader. I never really find it that bad. It maxes out my connection (2.4Megs a second download) better than Steam does and I have not had a problems so far.
 
Payday tomorrow , new connection from 8mb to 20mb on friday

Will be getting BF2142 as loved it but lost my cd ^^ , and will pick up crysis also i guess bargin at that price
 
I want to get this, but I don't like the sound of this EA download manager by what people are saying, sounds like its not something I want on my main pc. Is it possible to download this game on my laptop, which I don't care about, using this EA DL thing, then install the game proper on my main PC? I.e. can you just copy the install file across or does it need the manager thing installed to launch the game? Also would prefer to use the laptop to download as I don't fancy leaving my power hungry main pc on for days on end while it downloads.

Yeh, you can remove the EA download manager once you have downloaded your games. You will need to reinstall it if you want to download them again though.
 
You get Crysis Wars also with it the code they gave worked for it, can't be bad for that price £3.75.

It came down slow for me only got 3mb/s so i did both at the same time and got that speed on each.

I bought Crysis Warhead for £14 and Crysis for £10 earlier this year. Then I seen they released a Maximum Edition with Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Crysis Wars all for a princely sum of £25. Of course now I look back and think I was right in buying them both seperately.

Liking the idea of having it for £4.99 but pointless now and yeah EADM is not anyones friend these days.

In your download manager there is a tab to sign in and its not the first tab you see either. Sign in and you will see a list of programs you have purchased available for download.

You do not need to do any product activation to download there.

Do you have a paypal account? That's what I used to pay, as I couldn't be bothered entering my card details, and it went through first time without a hitch.

Hmmm, as for the game itself it's not running too well but that's probably down to my ancient P.C...although saying that, Crysis (the first one) played much better than this on the same rig.

Oh well, it was only £3.74.
